Step 1 — Non-Scored Gate Review

These items do not create a score. They create a management flag, legal/fair housing review flag, waitlist result, or “do not approve yet” result only after a reviewer selects an answer.
Applicant understands WLR-ILH is independent living only.
WLR does not provide care, supervision, medication help, personal care, or licensed facility services.
Applicant or family expects WLR to provide care/supervision.
Includes medication reminders, bathing, dressing, toileting, bed checks, wellness checks, dementia care, behavior monitoring, or 24-hour staff availability.
Reasonable accommodation requested or possibly needed.
Do not deny until owner/management reviews the request in good faith.
Assistance animal request.
Assistance animals are not pets. Do not apply pet rent, pet fees, or pet deposits to approved assistance animals.
Current direct safety threat or serious recent tenancy-related conduct.
Use objective, documented conduct only. Do not use fear, speculation, stereotypes, or protected-class status.
Room/bed availability confirmed.
Applicant provided truthful, complete information.

Step 2 — 100-Point Fit Score

Score only tenancy-related and ILH-scope factors. A high score does not override gate issues. Empty fields do not create default flags.

Independent Living Fit — Medication, transportation, appointments, shopping, personal support
